3rd Party SFP/SFP+ reported as "Unsupported Transceiver"


Description


This bug is appears if bytes 7, 8 and 9 are programmed with any non-zero number.


To verify to see if you are having the same issue open the CLI and type: 


sh hard int transceiver ins 0 sprom raw


This will be displayed:

Solution


This bug is not seen in any other releases. We recommend upgrading to release 6.2.10 where it has been fixed
